PHYSICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT - A. Hugh Adams Central Campus - John H. Payne Hall PHY 1001L - Applied Physics Laboratory - Building 7, Room 277 (BC Course Description and Outline) Laboratory for the purpose of demonstrating and verifying the theories of mechanics, electricity and magnetism. The concept of heat is introduced and experiments are performed to illustrate this concept. This course is geared towards students majoring in a technical field. Students may sign up for this course without being placed by the Testing Center or meeting with the Associate Dean. This course is transferrable in a degree seeking program. The accompanying lecture (PHY 1001) is offered concurrently.
