Payne Hall CHM 1041 - General Chemistry B (Expanded Sequence) (BC Course Description and Outline) This course further develops modern chemical concepts, including, gases, liquids, solids, solutions, acid-base chemistry, ionic reactions, oxidation-reduction reactions, thermodynamics and descriptive chemistry of non-metals. Students may sign up for this course without being placed by the Testing Center or meeting with the Associate Dean. This course is transferrable in a degree seeking program. General Chemistry is geared towards students majoring in the Sciences. General Chemistry B is the second part of a three sequence expanded program for General Chemistry.
