PHYSICAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT - A. Hugh Adams Central Campus - John H. Payne Hall AST 1003 - Astronomy of the Solar System - (BC Course Description and Outline) Primarily descriptive and conceptual study of the solar system and astronomical methods of general interest. Evening observing sessions in addition to the scheduled course hours may be required. An astronomy laboratory is recommended. Students may sign up for this course without being placed by the Testing Center or meeting with the Associate Dean. This course is transferrable in a degree seeking program. The accompanying laboratory (AST 1022L) is offered concurrently but is not required.
